Planning a Visit?
Visiting a church for the first time can feel like a big step, but we want you to feel completely at ease. At Southwest Baptist, your first visit will be refreshing, friendly, and enjoyable for the whole family. Our hope is that you’ll be encouraged by uplifting music, strengthened by powerful preaching, and welcomed by a warm, caring church family. From the moment you arrive, you’ll be greeted with genuine hospitality and made to feel right at home.
A Typical Sunday
At Southwest Baptist we offer a welcoming and supportive Sunday School classes for every age group every Sunday Morning at 10:00 A.M.
The main worship service follows at 11:00 A.M.
We will begin the Morning Worship with Congregational Singing, with hymns, and songs of praise and is often followed by a special song by one of our church groups.
The preaching will always be the central focus of our services, and we strive to make each message given, both meaningful, and grounded, in Scripture.
What about for the Kids?
We strive to provide a clean, organized, and welcoming nursery for children ages 2 and under.
Our Sunday School classes give kids the chance to build friendships within the church while enjoying interactive Games, & Bible‑based lessons.
All families join together for the 11:00 A.M. worship service. After the music portion, the children ages 4–10 are dismissed from the Sanctuary for Compass Kids’ Church, where they will enjoy a special lesson, songs, games, and activities designed just for them.
