LEAD PASTOR, DAVID BISHOP
Pastor Bishop and his wife, Starla, both grew up in East Texas. Pastor married his high-school sweetheart on June 6, 1980. After Bible College, Pastor Bishop was licensed and ordained into the Gospel Ministry at Faith Baptist Church in Greenville, MS. They have 3 children: Joshua Bishop of Texarkana TX, Rebekah Butler of Perdon TX, and their youngest Hannah Baker of Wichita Falls TX.
In May of 2010, Bro. Bishop accepted the call to come to Southwest Baptist Wichita Falls TX, and in doing so, he became the church's fourth pastor in almost 50 years. Pastor Bishop is a man of passion and vision for the things of God. He is a guardian of the truth, a friend to the sinner, and a servant of God's Church and is uncompromising teacher and preacher of God's Word.
ASSOC. PASTOR, CALEB BAKER Th.M
Associate Pastor Caleb Baker, was saved at the age of 19 during a Camp Meeting in Florence AL. Two years after Salvation, and running from the Lord's call, he surrendered to the Gospel Ministry.

He left his hometown in Maben MS, to work under Pastor David Bishop in Wichita Falls TX, and married, Hannah in December of 2012. And in November 2013 they had their first child, Josiah. their Second son Levi Jude was born in August 2020.​
Southwest Baptist has been the beginning of his ministry. He was Licensed and then Ordained into the Gospel Ministry on July 9, 2016 by Southwest Baptist.
Bro. Baker has grown so much in his time of service to the Lord, he is currently over our TEEN360 Youth Dept. and Director over our Compass Kid's Church Ministry.
He is a graduate of Faithful Baptist Bible College, with a "Master's of Arts in Theology Th.M." We are eager to see how God will use Bro. Baker in the years to come as he serves the Lord at Southwest Baptist.
