SWBC MEMORIAL'S

Frank Lloyd Heginbotham passed away into the arms of his Lord and Savior
February 27, 2016.

Lloyd was born August 19, 1930 at home in Wichita Falls, Texas to Charley and Maude Heginbotham. He was the youngest of eight children. On May 17, 1953, he married Virginia Louise Krebs. To this union two children were born, one daughter Carol Ann and one son Michael Lloyd. In 1953, he trusted Christ as his Lord and Savior and was never the same. He and his wife helped start Southwest Baptist Church in 1965 and was a faithful servant for the Lord until his death. He led many souls to Christ, and taught and worked with teens for 50 years. He taught adults, and was a trustee and deacon for 50 years. In later years he led singing for services at the nursing home. He worked for the railroad for 17 years, which was his first love in jobs. He then worked for PPG 22 years. When he retired he did all the maintenance at the church. The Lord was first in his life and second was his family. Lloyd dearly loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Dr. Carl Hatch
"Evangelist & Soul-winner for Christ"

February 15, 1929 - June 14, 2009

Dr. Carl Hatch was a member of Southwest Baptist Church of Wichita Falls, Texas.
After service in the U.S. Army during the Korean War era and meeting his wife Ruby, he was wonderfully saved on June 8, 1955, while working for General Motors in Flint, Michigan. He immediately began winning souls and working for the Lord while attending
Midwestern Baptist College in Pontiac, Michigan. He was ordained on September 7, 1957,
and worked on the staff of Flint Baptist Temple in Flint, Michigan.
During his 52 years of ministry, he was the pastor of churches in Fresno, California and Hialeah, Florida. In 1971, he founded Andrew Evangelistic Association, launching a career of 38 years of full-time evangelism. During these 38 years, he preached in countless churches all over North America. Only God knows the number of souls saved as a result of his relentless zeal for the Lord's work. During his evangelistic ministry, he received numerous honorary degrees and other accolades, made many friends, and inspired thousands to serve the Lord more effectively. His ministry will continue to impact the world through the hundreds of individuals who accepted God's call as a result of Dr. Hatch's preaching.

A Great man of God, and leader in Southwest Baptist Church for many years. In his youth he was a Missionary to Mexico but after many years of service left the mission field and made Wichita Falls his home, as well as Southwest Baptist. We are thankful for Bro. Johnson, and the legacy he leaves behind, for the messages he has preached and the lessons he has taught. He was a great servant and dear friend of the Faith. He was a man who believed in Prayer, and believed all things could be accomplished if only it was bathed in prayer!
